People don’t usually equate beaches with Canada, but they do in Vancouver, BC.
English Bay is just a mild walk away from downtown Vancouver. But I do recommend wearing comfortable shoes while walking there.
It’s not one of the biggest beaches ever, but it is sizable for a city and is accessible for the locals and tourists in the summer. Of course you can also do the typical beachy activities there too.
To top it off, on the shore there are tons of makeshift logs that you can sit/set your towel on if you desire. So it looks like English Bay does come equip with everything one would need for an enjoyable day at the beach.
It’s a dazzling visit.
